Jack Cruise is your average fifteen year old until he wakes from a fifty year coma after a driving accident he had with his brother. Jack soon finds the world has changed drastically, but he looks exactly the same as he had fifty years ago.
Earth was hit by the remnants of an exploding star which altered the DNA of all living things, especially humans, who now have unique abilities, and never age. As Jack pursues his dream job of becoming a detective by going under the wing of Detective Jason Blanc, he unknowingly draws closer to his mother's killer, and the followers of the escaped terrorist, now known as Telepathist. Jack is indestructible, but he'll need to learn to use his other powers - flying and controlling fire - if he's going to survive the path they're thrown on, and make sure no one else in his life dies.

From the Author
This first book is the result of three year's work perfecting the story line and preparing the series it's meant to begin. It is only a hint, a tease, of what the characters can do and what will happen to them, and the following four books of the New Earth Series will delve deeper into their lives and the their new world. It was exciting to write, but hopefully more exciting to read, and I am looking forward to releasing the next four books and going on this journey with you, the readers.
