Wendy Hackey grew up in Washington, DC. She currently lives in Maryland with her husband of twenty-two years and her three children. She began writing when she was fourteen years old. Although she attended a performing arts school and pursued visual art in college, she considers her ability to write a gift that she is extremely passionate about. Now that her children are older, she has decided to return to that passion and finally pen all the stories she has had in her heart for years.

A wonderfully written children's book with a message for people of all ages. Wendy truly has a gift from God that she has unselfishly shared with us all through the eyes of a child. I look forward to the next book. A must read for everyone!

...as I read I could fell Micah's need and hope.....to see Mommy ,and Dad trying his best to make it easier the bare...My Mother is 96yrs young and I did have a tear in my eye....
