I'm about halfway through the book so far, and it draws you in from the very start. It's a unique story with interesting plots. The character development and back-stories are excellent. The balance between narrative and action is very good, and the fight sequences are well-written without being overdone (I can't imagine that they would be easy to write). I've been having a difficult time putting it down.

but I have enjoyed what I've read so far

I have only read a small portion of this book, but I have enjoyed what I've read so far. Small but important details such as wishing for a hairbrush provide insights into both the character and the author. I am eager to read more and I will post a more detailed comment (or edit this one) when I have read more of the book. Based on what I've read so far, I highly recommend this book.

I am not normally a sci fi reader. However this book is well written has variety such as romance, action and keeps your interest. The author has put a lot of thought into the subject and appears to be poised for a second edition. Good job!!
