Will and his team appear to put an end to the troubles, however, a spectacular explosion destroying Scrivener Dam on Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra kills the new Prime Minister and others and Michael Radford takes over as Prime Minister.
Will finds himself pushed to the sidelines when his inquiries about Michael Radford get too close; a background as a possible war criminal in the Balkan Wars of the 1990s. More information about Radford and his activities is revealed and Radford fights for his political survival. The action culminates on the south-east coast of New South Wales in Australia where Radford’s activities are fully revealed.

An exciting thriller set against the backdrop of modern Australian politics. Watson explores the consequences of prejudice and the role of the media in public perception when a country is under threat from within.

Congratulation Hugh. I found "Home Grown" to be a real page turner, could hardly put it down. Not just a great script but wonderful character development that held my interest and had me really feel for the characters. Looking forward to your next novel.

Fast paced debut novel

Fast pace, believable characters and a timing that is not without irony - as the world goes to hell in a hand basket, Watson's excellent debut novel gives us all pause for thought.
