CAN'T GET ENOUGH

Well I must say I love this whole series but this book is one of my favorites. I love Cee Cee and Daire. She is such a strong woman who is surrounded by Alpha men. But she knows how to rule among them. And Daire is strong but not suffocating. He knows how to protect Cee Cee and stand by her side when she has to fight. I still hate Alexandra from book one. I mean really his mates missing and she want to stand there and threaten to arrest him cause she wants answers. Glade she wasn't in the book much. But we did get to see a lot of Daire's and Cee Cee's family. Great read and you can see the buildup for the next few books without taking much from their story. Can't wait

Wicked Edge is uninterrupted action, adventure and romance. A story in a world of shifters, demons, vampires and witches so exciting you won’t be able to put it down. And when it’s over you’ll still want more.

With the threat of planekite – a mineral deadly to both humans and witches – as real as ever, Daire Dunne, a three century old enforcer of Coven Nine, has been working undercover in the Fire MC to try and track the distributors of the synthesized drug. Not making any headway and captivated by a petite blond at one of Fire’s parties, he decides to put her on the back of his bike and take her home. But not even his impassioned kiss would derail her from knocking him out in order to steal important information. Unable to let her get away with it, he springs into a chase that will change his life forever.
“Her scent. That hyacinth sweet scent waft back, and his nostrils flared. Mine. Forgetting his job, forgetting formality, even forgetting diplomacy, he chased her.”
Cee Cee might not have the typical abilities of her race, but she’s smart, cunning and determined. Not her family and certainly not the overprotective, badass sexy witch who won’t let up and every time he catches up, he makes her feel more alive than ever before.

Drugging him over and over hasn’t discouraged him. On the contrary, he seems more determined than ever to catch her, especially when it seems that the same man she’s after is behind the planekite mining. This thrilling and sexy sweet story will grab you right from the start and keep you interested until the very last page. I just love this world Rebecca Zanetti has created and want to know each and every species and fascinating character.
I just love rough, bossy alpha males because the tougher they are the harder they fall. I really wanted to read about Daire because he made me laugh so much when he swore he would mate a delicate and compliant woman. I knew life would give him just the opposite and I loved how even though he fought it in the beginning, he completely embraced their bond and Cee Cee just as she is with her wild spirit.
“He wanted that wildness, needed it set free and alive around him. Nothing in him, not one inch, wanted to tame that. He just wanted to ride it, be part of it.”
Cee Cee is kind, intelligent, independent and head strong, the latter almost being her supernatural ability. I loved how unwavering she is in protecting her family and that same fierceness translated nicely into caring for Daire. The chemistry between them is instant and hotter than gasoline to fire. But the romance is even better. I just loved how the tough guy softened when it came to the wild temptress and how much she made him work for it. Come on, she drugged him three times and that’s not counting all the perilous situations she forced him into while he was after her.
“He planted his mouth over hers and swept his tongue inside, taking what he wanted. Sensation bombarded him, stronger than before. Hunger. Need. Craving. Possessiveness. Protectiveness. He consumed her, feasting at her mouth like a starving man.”
As with the previous book, I really liked reading about Garret, the bears and Logan. Like I mentioned earlier, I would jump at the chance to read about each and every one of these characters.
Rebecca Zanetti continues to write amazing, action packed, and blazing hot romances. Wicked Edge is fast paced with head jerking twists and turns and swoon worthy moments. It is book #2 in the Real Enforcers series that can be read as a standalone with a happy ending, but readers would benefit from reading the series in order.

This second installment of the Realm Enforcers is about Daire Dunne. Just like his brother Kellach, Daire is an enforcer for the Coven 9. They continue working undercover for Titans of Fire MC in attempts to find out the source of the new drug that’s killing witches. While working, he meets Ceecee whom he cannot stay away from no matter how much of a loose cannon she is.
Ceecee, much like Daire is just as determined to catch the bad guys but Ceecee has ulterior motives…revenge. The man who has done her loved one wrong has it coming to him and it is well overdue. She will stop at nothing to achieve it even if it means getting away from the man she wants to be with.
While I enjoyed this book, I will admit that I had a hard time rating it. Rebecca Zanetti continues to deliver an action packed story full of sexy witches and shifters. Daire is the sweetest, protective alpha hero you could ask for but unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the heroine. Ceecee is a strong, independent heroine who had her mind set on doing things…her way. Unfortunately, some of her decisions involved drugging Daire repeatedly, and I just could not agree with it. She thought she was doing him a favor but resulted in her needing the help instead. For the life of me, I can’t understand why he kept falling for her tricks. Her decisions annoyed me and she bordered TSTL. I will admit that she redeemed herself in the end. I think the most important thing is that Daire forgives her. She’s very lucky to have him.
Wicked Edge is not Zanetti’s best work but overall an enjoyable read. I’m hoping the next book will be about the sexy bear shifter.
