Lisa Hutchinson began making comics in elementary school and her love for illustrating led her to study graphic arts at a local university. She is a self taught manga artist, learning the style while working and raising three children. With a passion for comic arts, she aims to equip, inspire and mentor the next generation of school age children and young adults to pursue their destinies and reach their full potential. She has taught comic seminars and currently freelances on the side but also enjoys supporting special needs children in the classroom and in their homes. Great new manga series!

The best, beautifully illustrated American manga I have come across! Great, in depth, plot and memorable characters. This is a must read, hard to put down till it finish book. The first in the series, Shelter of Wings will leave you wanted more!
The story it is about a traumatize girl named Jeanna who blames herself for a tragic event but soon will find she has a guardian angel. Little does she know she is part of a much bigger plan and the demons will stop at nothing to make sure she doesn't discover all she has to offer the world. Unseeingly Jeanna's Guardian Angel, Moe, protects and supports her unknowing from the evil schemes of demons while her brother tries to be patience with her and support her as best as he knows how while he deals with his own struggles. Then everything changes when Moe reveals himself to Jeanna!

Shelter of Wings delivers!!!!

An inspiring Christian graphic novel for the teen or anyone who is going through struggles. Overwhelmed with sorrows, young Jenna surprisingly encounters her guardian angel and will soon discover purpose in this world. Shelter is masterfully illustrated and detailed, from clothing designs of the supernatural to the fantastic scenery of the heavens and around the world. The characters are lovingly developed and meaningful. Very scriptural and uplifting, with lots of humor thrown in from the warrior and musical angels, and the two main demons unfortunately bonded together. Ist book in the series which leaves you wanting and needing more!
