a story that should be read and shared

This is an interesting take on a family dynamic that happens in nearly every household, parent versus child!
It tells the story of a mother and daughter who are angered by each other, their handling of the situation and their own temper. Things are said that are not meant and soon both find themselves saddened by their actions.
Of course like any good family, they find a way to make up and show how much they care. It’s a great read along story to share with the little ones. The rhymes are a fun way to share the story and the illustrations are great, helping to show that in this spat the participants are not the only ones affected. One member of the family can effect the others without even realizing it.
Overall a story that should be read and shared. A great teaching story.

I loved it!

A cute little rhyming story about a cranky mom and daughter. Illustrations add depth to the story- other kids follow mom and daughter's examples and have tantrums, too. Love reading this with the kids, especially when we are grumpy at each other.
