About the Author
When I was young, I had an active imagination. I was surrounded by amazing characters and family stories. I liked to observe people and wondered what made them think, feel and act the way they did. I had a sense of their emotions and physical well-being but wanted to go beyond the surface feelings. I wanted to go deeper into the dynamics that molded moments in their lives. As the years passed, I got lost in my head with daily tasks and external validation. The walls got thicker between my intuitive imagination and my ego brain which only focused on future goals and other people’s drama. I lost touch with my inner child and spiritual connection. I felt a disconnect and imbalance that was becoming too dense to ignore. A few years ago, I began prying open my heart again. I was lucky to have the exact people in my life that I needed to work through my lessons. I am soooo grateful for all the support here, above and beyond. I have again incorporated my imagination and my inner child as active partners in my life. I regained my passion for stories of all sorts. I am now present in the moments of my own life and aware of the connectivity of all our shared stories. I also want to encourage others to be able to express their stories. By telling our own stories, we can share our struggles, lessons, hopes and dreams with one another. We can continue to move forward by creating a world that is working for the highest good of all. I had as much fun reading this as the kids did.
Fun for all ages. Everyone loved Sunny and the values he teaches.

A fun, creative story that is a joy for all ages!

This is a lovely story which helps to share the importance of listening to your heart and knowing yourself. I read it with my 2 children (4 and 7), and both of them were delighted with the colorful pictures, and eager to see what would happen to Sunny as he continued his adventure. There is a depth in this book which allows the message to easily reach readers of all ages. We can't wait to join Sunny on his next adventure!

Fun for all ages!

I have now read this several times, and each time I catch something new. There is something here for everyone! The pictures are fun - my niece and nephew were smiling, laughing and seemed to thoroughly enjoy each new page. The story is adorable and heartwarming. I love that it encourages being out in nature and that fun can come during simple activities.
