5-Stars for a Super Book about Kids with Super Powers!!!

If you want to find an alternative to having your children glued to the TV or video games, here's a great little book. Eleven brand-new short stories - geared for middle grade kids...some of the stories feature kids with special needs, while many of them focus on children who have special abilities...kind of like kid super-heroes.
I loved the wide range of topics and situations in this anthology...these stories would be fun for parents to read aloud with younger kids...or for older ones to read by themselves. All kids like to dream they could travel through time or have special powers...and the book is such a handy size, it fits perfectly into a backpack or purse, making it great for taking on trips.
And what is really cool is that all proceeds will be donated to the Sturge-Weber Foundation.

Kissed by An Angel is a selection of short stories for children; tales written about hard times, difficult journeys, and super powers but with a moral that all fairy tales deliver. Written and published as a way to raise money for the Sturge-Weber Foundation it's a true delight, not only for children but also for the child in all of us.
Robyn Campbell, the creator of this wonderful anthology, and the author of the title story, Kissed By An Angel, shares the journey her son takes while dealing with Sturge-Weber. Christopher's journey will touch your heart, and his determination to overcome his disability will inspire your soul.
I've long believed that the true angels on earth are the children, who by no fault of their own suffer debilitating illness and physical and mental disabilities. They've volunteered for the job of reminding us of the true worth of human life.
Kissed By An Angel is a beautiful project with amazing stories of survival, courage, with the added entertainment of unique powers and miraculous machines. Love is at the heart of each.
I highly recommend this book, and not just because the proceeds go to a good cause, but because the writing is exceptional, truly inspiring, and the stories are on the level with the masters of fairy tales, the Brothers Grimm.

Bravo! The collaborators for the anthology have knocked it out of the park. Exceptional stories written by authors who poured their hearts and souls into every story. A great read supporting an even greater cause!
